What Is Prodigy Automation, and How Does It Work?

Prodigy Automation is a hands-free trading solution designed to automate trades based on a proven strategy. It operates similarly to the Prodigy Indicator but differs in one key way: automation executes trades for you, while the indicator allows you to decide whether to take the trade or not. If you prefer a "set and forget" approach, Prodigy Automation is the perfect choice.

Default Settings

By default, Prodigy Automation trades USD/JPY with a 1:2 risk-to-reward ratio, allowing for consistent account growth. You can set your risk per trade (recommended between 1–3% of your account). The system runs 24/7, constantly scanning for trading opportunities.

Key Customization Options

You have the flexibility to adjust settings to fit your trading style:

  • Risk-to-Reward Ratio: Default is 1:2, but you can modify it higher or lower depending on your goals.
  • Risk Per Trade: Adjust this based on your personal risk tolerance (e.g., 1%, 2%, or 3%).
  • Trading Times: Set specific hours for the bot to trade, such as only during the New York or London sessions.
  • Symbols: Choose which currency pairs or assets the bot will trade.
  • Breakeven & Trailing Stops: Lock in profits at multiple levels based on risk-to-reward or pips, ensuring you maximize gains while minimizing losses.

Performance Example

While the bot may experience winning and losing streaks, the overall default settings ensure steady account growth over time. For instance:

  • A loss of $50 per trade results in a win of $100 per trade.
  • After 10 wins, you would earn $1,000.
  • After 10 losses, you would lose $500.
This means, even with equal wins and losses, you'd still be up $500 profit.

By maintaining patience and proper risk management, Prodigy Automation helps grow your account consistently over the long term.
